Stainless Steel Turbo Heat Shield. Designed to replace the factory turbo heat shield, the Cobb Stainless Steel replacement is an ideal replacement particularly when installing aftermarket downpipes. The factory turbo heat shield does not fit when installing most bellmouth or divorced downpipe designs without trimming. The Cobb SS Heat Shield is specifically designed to retain the function of the factory heat shield while still fitting over all aftermarket downpipe designs.

Running without a turbo heat shield can increase underhood temperatures and unnecessarily heat your intercooler. We highly recommend you either trim your factory shield (free) or purchase our shield rather than running with no heat shield at all.

Cat-less Up-pipe for WRX and STi. The TXS uppipe replaces the factory uppipe connecting the exhaust header to the turbo. New design is all 304 stainless steel and utilizes a high pressure/high temperature flex joint for easy installation. New studs included. Replacement gaskets not included. TurboXS recommends using factory gaskets.

The Perrin up-pipe replaces the factory up-pipe located between the exhaust manifold and the turbo charger. The original up-pipe includes a small catalytic converter and an Exhaust Gas Temperature sensor (E.G.T.). Both of these components will be removed during the installation.

Downpipe for WRX and STi. Significantly reduce turbo lag with the Cobb truly engineered downpipe. Designed for optimal performance and durability, their downpipe features full 304 Stainless Steel construction. Starting from the turbo, exhaust gasses enter a cast stainless steel bell-mouth housing that utilizes internal shapes and features impossible to create with standard tubing. This design feature was chosen specifically to reduce turbo lag, improve low-end torque, and offer superior durability in high HP, high temperature uses. Another improvement realized is the reduction of exhaust noise entering the cabin common with the thin-walled tubing used in nearly all other down-pipes on the market.

This system replaces both the stock downpipe section and final catalytic converter section. They will mate up perfectly to the stock or any aftermarket cat-back system designed to attach to the factory donut style flex gasket. A bung necessary to use the second factory O2 sensor is included. In addition, an auxiliary O2 sensor bung is located near the turbo in a position that's easy-to-reach from the engine compartment for wide-band O2 sensor use during tuning sessions.

Perrin down pipe for the WRX and STi. Perrin designed the turbo exhaust flange to have a waste gate diverter. This piece fits into the turbo and separates the waste gate gases from the normal exhaust flow. Having the separate waste gate down tube significantly decreases the amount of turbulence at the back of the turbo. This will increase spool up and horse power as well as reduce turbo lag.
